Why Corpus exists

The scale should not be the only witness to your work.

Consistent training happens across hundreds of ordinary days. Yet most tools reduce that entire story to today’s weight or one isolated photo.

Corpus was created to preserve context: how your estimated composition changed, which regions progressed, what stayed flat, and what might be a useful next step.

That requires honesty. Photo-based measurements remain estimates. Individual results vary. Health data is optional. Privacy and limitations need to live in the experience—not hide in a footnote.

Who builds Corpus

One founder, years of training, and one rule: show the sources.

Corpus is built by Felipe Passos, who has been strength training for about ten years and spends as much time as he can outdoors, hiking. He isn't a physician or a dietitian — which is exactly why every guide on this site cites the research it relies on and says where the numbers stop being reliable.

What guides the product

01

Clarity before quantity

A metric earns its place only when it helps explain direction, context, or action.

02

History before guesses

Guidance improves when it begins with the work you have already recorded.

03

Method before promises

Estimates should come with the limitations required to interpret them.

04

Subscription, not advertising

The product is supported by subscriptions—not the sale of data or attention.
