Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Corpus iPhone app (the "App"), provided by Corpus ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to use Corpus. The App is designed for iPhone users running iOS 26 or later.

2. What Corpus is, and what it isn't

Corpus analyzes progress photos to estimate body composition metrics (body fat percentage, FFMI, and related measures), tracks those metrics over time, and provides an AI Coach that references your own history to answer questions.

Corpus is not a medical device, and nothing in the App is medical advice. Body composition estimates are derived from photo analysis and are not equivalent to clinical-grade measurements like a DEXA scan. The Recovery score is a wellness signal built from Apple Health data, not a diagnostic tool. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet, training, or health regimen, and before relying on Corpus if you have an existing health condition.

3. Your account and data

Corpus does not require a traditional account. You're identified by a private, device-generated identifier rather than a name or email. You're responsible for keeping your device secure, since anyone with access to your unlocked device has access to your Corpus data. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Corpus Premium is offered on the following terms, billed through your Apple ID:

• Monthly: $7.99/mo, billed monthly.
• Yearly: $49.99/yr, billed annually, which includes a 14-day free trial for new subscribers.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you originally agreed to unless changed in advance with notice. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings; cancelling stops future billing but does not refund the current period. Free trials convert to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends.

All billing is handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and refund policies. We don't have access to your payment details and can't issue refunds directly, refund requests go through Apple.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's underlying models or source code.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's backend infrastructure.
• Upload photos of anyone other than yourself, or content you don't have the right to submit.

6. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, branding, and underlying technology, is owned by Corpusand protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your check-in photos and any content you create within the App. By using sharing features, you're choosing to export or share that content yourself, we don't publish or redistribute it.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Body composition estimates are approximations and may vary from clinical measurement methods. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific result (weight loss, muscle gain, or otherwise) will occur from using it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corpus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, including reliance on any estimate, score, or recommendation it provides.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your data through Settings → Export Data. We may suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these Terms or misuse of the service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above, and where appropriate, an in-app notice.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
