Common questions

How accurate is a photo-based body fat estimate?

Photo-based estimates will not match a DEXA scan to the decimal, and Corpus does not claim they will. Consistent capture conditions can make the trend more useful over time, but every result remains an estimate rather than a clinical measurement.

What happens to my photos?

A check-in photo is sent for analysis and handled as described in the Corpus Privacy Policy. It is not sold, used for advertising, or placed in a public photo library. Review the policy for current processing, storage, and deletion details.

Do I need to connect Apple Health?

It's optional, but it's what powers your Recovery score. Without it, everything based on your photo, check-ins, score, body fat, FFMI, muscle groups, still works exactly the same.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store settings. The App Store shows the applicable trial and renewal terms before purchase.

Is my data shared with anyone?

Corpus does not sell your data or use it for targeted advertising. The Privacy Policy lists the service providers required to operate the product and explains what data they process.

Subscriptions and billing

Corpus Premium is billed through your Apple ID. You can view, change, or cancel your subscription, and manage renewals and refund requests, from your Apple ID account, since Corpus doesn't have access to your payment details. See Apple's guide to managing subscriptions.

Your data

Corpus doesn't use a traditional account, so there's nothing to sign in to and nothing to delete via a login flow. You can export or delete your data at any time from Settings → Export Data in the app. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
